The DPW collects Lafayette's recycling and trash. Please refer to the recycle/trash page for information.
Please do not leave your curbside recycling in plastic bags. The bags cannot be collected with the other recyclables as they get caught in conveyor belts during the recycling process. In the past, the DPW workers were emptying the bags and leaving them behind, however they were blowing around and creating roadside litter. Place your recycling of glass and plastic bottles in a sturdy container.
Lafayette Township Residents: Please be advised that no person shall park a vehicle upon any municipal street, road or right-of-way between November 1 of each year and April 30 of the following year. Violators will be towed. (Ordinance 2014-13, adopted December 16, 2014)
Christmas tree pick up will begin starting January 19. Please make sure ALL decorations and tinsel are removed from the tree.
New notices will be posted on the news and announcements page.
